Just a decent option for a lightning trip in Avalon with outstanding value for money. The fresh donuts from the local bakery during breakfast were a nice touch. Make sure to lock your windows for extra peace of mind.

Charming Victorian aesthetic throughout the building creates a genuine historic vibe that you won't find in modern hotels. The third-floor veranda offers a nice spot to unwind with views of the surroundings, and nearby Vons provides quick access to any grab-and-go...  

Couple’s cozy getaway

The hotel had this warm, homey vibe just like you feel in a family gathering. Plus, every morning we enjoyed fresh coffee and the best donuts you can possibly imagine.

It wasn't exactly cheap but acceptable for what we got.

The staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The bed was very comfortable, allowing for restful nights after long days of exploring.

The only downside was the limited electrical outlets, but it didn’t overshadow my overall enjoyment. 😊

I had a lovely experience staying in a quaint cottage that perfectly encapsulates the charm of Avalon’s history. The location is fantastic, just a short stroll to everything you need, and the shared outdoor patio was a nice touch for morning coffee. The beds were comfy, and the cozy atmosphere made for a relaxing retreat. However, I did find that the service could be a bit warmer and more engaging.

I truly enjoyed the hotel's charming Victorian decor and accessible features, which made navigating the space easy. The communal balconies offered a lovely spot to relax with my coffee while enjoying views of the surroundings....

great place for exploring nearby parks and landmarks

I spent three nights here and loved how the hotel was just a few steps away from the Catalina Island Museum and a beautiful walk from the Wrigley Memorial and Botanical Garden, making my city strolls both enjoyable and memorable.

The location is convenient, just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The room had the most comfortable bed, making for restful nights. However, there are no elevators, and the stairs can be a challenge, especially with luggage.
